Pakistan

I recently saw the film "the kite runner" and I cannot believe that the Taliban are invading Pakistan. Why isn't something being done to stop this?
Australia and US and others have troops in Afganistan fighting the Taliban but we are doing nothing to stop the spread into Pakistan.
Australia plays cricket with this country!!
Does oil need to be found there?
This is a scarey situation.
I hope Pakistan will be OK.

So what have I been doing.
We went on the Bicycle victoria Great Victoria Bike Ride in 2008. 595 kms. A week in another world.
It was a tough ride.
Day 2 was a killer with 88kms of head winds.
150 people were sent home with gastro before the last day.
It was fun with not much to do but cycle.
